Let us explain why:
The X3 is our flagship cartridge, with potency over 80% and effectiveness like you wouldn’t believe. We’ve been trying to make this puppy happen for the better part of a year, but we kept running into one pesky little snag: Chemistry. (What a jerk, amirite?)
Turns out the CBD molecule is really big and likes to crystallize at concentrations over 60%, and there isn’t a dang thing you can do about it. Any attempts to make a cartridge stronger than our game-changing X2 ended up with wax that would turn into CBD rock candy, get stuck halfway up the cartridge, refuse to flow down into the intake holes, and make us really sad.
But fear not! For we found a way.

This bad boy is the grooviest 510-thread-compatible cartridge battery you’ll ever see. It’s got all the main features of our super-rad FTP Elite battery PLUS an awesome warming chamber that ensures even the thickest, most crystallized cartridges can flow and provide a consistent vaping experience.
Now you can TRY to use the X3 cartridge with a regular battery, but be warned – the cartridge has to be kept upright at all times or the wax will get stuck, and it might get stuck anyway. You should probably be ready to bust out a hair dryer to melt the wax down a bit just in case. If dealing with all that noise isn’t your jam, go up one paragraph and we’ve got you covered.

Description
X3 Cartridge & Battery Instructions
Items needed:
- X3 cartridge (full or half gram) – 510-thread compatible
- EliteHEAT™ battery
- Preheat chamber (separated from battery)
- You!
- One or more of your favorite people (optional)
Step 1: Turn on the battery, if it’s not on already. Click the button 5 times really fast (one-two-three-four-five, within 1 second).
Step 2: Ensure the battery is set to the correct voltage setting – we recommend starting with white and going up from there. To cycle voltages, triple-tap the button (one-two-three, within 1 second): White – Blue – Green – Red – reset (White)
Step 3: Screw the cartridge onto the battery threads. Make sure the airflow holes are open (this is muy importante).
Step 4: Slide the preheat chamber over the cartridge and screw it onto the battery.
Step 5: If the wax is solid – looks like tiny rock candy crystals, doesn’t flow at all – DO NOT PANIC; this is what you got the EliteHEAT™ for.
Double-tap the button to start a preheat cycle, which lasts for 90 seconds if you let it do its thing. You’ll see the color change on the button as it goes – this is the voltage increasing every 30 seconds to fully heat the cartridge. So cool, right?!
If the weather is cold, the A/C is bumping, or you’re in a walk-in refrigerator (we don’t judge) you might actually want a second warming cycle to fully liquefy the X3. This is some gnarly-thick wax, it’s just the nature of the beast. Still beats sitting there with a hair dryer.
Step 6: It’s vaping time! Hold down the button while inhaling through the cartridge tip. If this is your first X3, start with SMALL PUFFS. Again…gnarly-thick wax. Treat it with respect.
Step 7 (optional): Once you’re done, turn off the battery by repeating step 1.

CBD Percentages Explained
Proper CBD VAPE products must disclose the “total volume” of the product AS WELL AS the total CBD content.
EXAMPLE: Our x2 1000mg vape contains 1000mg (or 1 gram) of total hemp extract (the sticky gold oil in your vape). Inside that 1 gram of golden oil is 750mg of CBD, which means the product contains 75% CBD.
What's the other 25%?
Well that's all the natural plant oils and omegas and fatty acids that make hemp so amazing!
While we don’t endorse drinking alcohol, it is easily understandable when thinking about it from a bottle of alcohol perspective.
Some products contain 5% alcohol while others contain 40% alcohol. The more there is, the stronger the final product becomes.

FAQ
What does “uncut wax” mean?
Short answer: It means a more potent product that’s much healthier with no added nastiness.
Long answer: Many companies on the market today cut their cartridges with MCT’s (from coconut oil), PG, VG, or other unnatural chemical carriers and additives to maximize profits and create a free flowing product.
We do the exact opposite.
We leave our cartridges fully uncut, thick, and extremely potent blended only with natural terpene profiles.
This is the most organic CBD vape available on the market; the cleanest way to vape CBD.
How long does a cartridge last for?
Short answer: It depends, but usually at least a couple weeks.
A standard cartridge will last between two and four weeks depending on how often you use it. We use only uncut wax so it does burn slow and last for a good amount of time. We do recommend getting the 1000 mg cartridges since they are the best value; you get the most CBD wax for your money. The X2 cartridges are by far the best value on the market.
How many milligrams do I get per puff?
Short answer: About 1 mg per puff.
Long answer: It depends on how you vape it as well. The best way to get maximum effect is to inhale and hold for a minimum of three seconds before exhaling.
What voltage setting should I set my battery to for best vaping results?
Short answer: Use the lowest setting you can get away with.
Long answer: Our batteries all have various voltage settings.
Regular battery, FTP Elite battery:
- White = 2.7V
- Blue = 3.1V
- Red = 3.6V
EliteHEAT (x3) battery:
- White = 2.5V
- Blue = 3.0V
- Green = 3.5V
- Red = 4.0V
Anything up to 3.6V should be fine, but your vaping experience will go more smoothly if you start low and work your way up. We generally don't recommend using the 4.0V setting on the EliteHEAT (x3) battery as it seems to be overkill with our wax, but you might find it works for you for whatever reason.
Does the wax need to be liquid in order to be vaped?
Short answer: Nope! You just need the wax to cover the cartridge's intake holes.
Long answer: A common misconception is that material needs to be completely liquid in order to be vaped. This is not the case! You can totally vape any of our waxes in their thick, solid form; there just needs to be wax covering all four intake holes in the cartridge. As long as that's going on, the wax will liquefy as you heat the cartridge.
This means you only need to preheat the cartridge enough to get the wax to move down to those intake holes. Our EliteHeat™ battery is special in that it preheats the WHOLE cartridge rather than just the stuff at the bottom, which makes the process much more efficient, but you do NOT need to smash that preheat function every time.
Can you refill the cartridge?
Yes! This is a high quality cartridge that does not need to be tossed out once it is done. It can easily be refilled and used again with any type of wax.
Is your CBD wax winterized?
Absolutely! Winterization is the only way to make a top-of-the-line, clean wax cartridge.
Does it matter if a cartridge has PG or VG in it?
Short answer: Only if you like having lungs that work.
Long answer: Propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerin (VG) have both been linked to lung damage when vaporized and inhaled. Both of these products are generally recognized as safe when ingested, but they just aren’t meant to go into our respiratory tract.
In contrast, MCT’s have unique chemical properties that make them safer to inhale, but they dilute the potency of CBD wax. That’s why we don’t put them in our cartridges - we cram literally as much CBD into those bad boys as possible (especially the X2).
Is it legal to buy CBD cartridges?
Short answer: In most places YES, but check your local jurisdiction to be sure.
Long answer: As long as the CBD product in question is hemp-derived and contains little to no THC, you’re in the clear.** THC is the chemical compound that delivers the familiar “high” or “stoned” effect. For that reason, products containing more than 0.3% THC are restricted in many US states, as well as in countries around the world. But our CBD products are lab-tested and verified to be under the legal limit of THC. They won’t cause any psychoactive effects, and they are completely legal!

What’s the difference between the 500mg and the 1000mg cartridges?
The 500mg and 1,000mg refers to the physical volume of the cartridge. A full gram and half gram. There is no difference in potency, just size.
